Chefs
Piotr Wronka – Chef in Stara Zajezdnia Krakow by DeSilva. Piotr comes from the vicinity of Libiąż near Krakow, and started cooking already in 2000. He graduated from the School of Gastronomy in Trzebinia (chef profile) and the Secondary Technical School of Food Industry in Krakow (food technologist). He gained his experience in Poland and abroad. He completed two foreign internships in Bordeaux, France at the Le Saint James Hotel and in Malmo at the Perssons restaurant. In Poland, he made his way to the hotel industry, where he worked as a cook at Courtyard by Marriott and Symposium, and then as a deputy Chef at Crown Piast and Andel’s. Since 2015 he has been working at Stara Zajezdnia Krakow by DeSilva.
MENU
We change the menu of Stara Zajezdnia Krakow by DeSilva depending on the season, trying to have as many seasonal ingredients as possible in our menu card. Whenever possible and in line with the culinary art, we try to use fresh ingredients.
MENU
The biggest and undeniable advantage of our menu cards is our own organic cattle breeding: Highland beef and pork. As befits one of the largest companies of Polish origin in the hotel industry, we strive to cooperate with Polish producers and suppliers on a daily basis. Our menu is the result of cooperation between the kitchen and management, so every item on our menu is the result of cooperation between an 8-person team.
MENU
In 2019, as the first restaurant in Krakow, we received the “Ambassador of Non-Wasting” certificate from Food Bank in Krakow, which we received on the day of an organized dinner in the “Zero Waste” series, aimed at making people aware of the need not to waste food and a reasonable purchasing policy in homes.
OPPORTUNITIES
Differentiated furniture offers even more opportunities. The Bar Hall is equipped with high chairs and tables, while the rooms “Small Tram” and “Large Tram” have comfortable booths and typical tables and restaurant chairs. The restaurant has a platform, which can accommodate up to 65 people while sitting and up to 100 people at a standing party.
OPPORTUNITIES
Because of the possibility of sitting both inside and outside, Tramwajowa Restaurant organizes corporate events with barbecue and live cooking. The area of the restaurant itself and its surroundings can be isolated from the rest of the Stara Zajezdnia Krakow by DeSilva complex without any problems. Which means that we can organize projects that require absolute privacy for you.
